The architecture of this model is based on a three-stage design and can drive lamps up to 18,0 kW with a maximum operating voltage of 2000 V
This ballast has been designed to operate in environments subject to high temperatures and voltage instability. It features robust components that ensure operational efficiency; even under critical conditions, our ballast guarantees flawless and consistent performance.
The cooling of this ballast is ensured by two internal 24 VDC fans, resulting in an auxiliary power consumption of 4,5 A. The cooling fans are positioned at the rear of the unit, and the airflow passes through the ballast along its longitudinal axis, effectively reducing the temperature in the hot zones of the machine body.
Additionally, during the ordering phase, the airflow direction can be selected in either the FORWARD (F) version where the air is blown into the machine body or the BACKWARD (B) version where the air is drawn from the machine body. This allows the ballast to be installed correctly within the cabinet.
The new SERIES R differs from the previous SERIES H in that the group of fans is positioned on the rear side of the machine and consists of a battery of 24 Vdc fans powered by an internal source. The airflow passes through the ballast along its longitudinal axis and the direction of the airflow can be chosen between the following versions available when ordering: : Version F, that is FORWARD, with the fans pushing air into the machine. Version B, that is BACKWARD, with the fans pulling air out of the machine.

Our internally developed software is constantly being developed in order to meet our customers’ specific requirements. This approach leads to higher levels of performance, as the physical and operating parameters of the lamps can be monitored and any failure or malfunctions are reported.
SINGLE-OUTPUT SYSTEM
The function of driving both arc lamps and LED lamps by means of the same power supply unit has now been further enhanced: we have further simplified this solution by combining the two connection in a single-output system. This not only leads to time-saving but also makes operations during the exchange-phase of the two units to be powered easier.
EFFICIENT FANS
The new strategic positioning of the cooling fans, located in the lower part of the power supply unit, makes it possible for the air cooling system to be more linear and direct and, as a consequence, more efficient. This results in an ultra high degree of reliability of our products.
