BALLAST

The R100 Ignitor is designed to meet the requirements of small/medium power up to 9.0 kW and voltage up to 450 V. Ideal for flexographic printing and narrow web printing, this ignitor comes in a COMBO version and is therefore capable of driving conventional UV lamps and our UV LED systems. The dimensions and weight are small to allow installation in small spaces. The electronics of this machine consists of a double-stage architecture powered by a three-phase line from 220 Vac to 480 Vac that allows to control lamps with voltage equal to or less than the applied mains voltage + 10%.

The new R SERIES differs from the previous H SERIES in that the group of fans is positioned on the rear side of the machine and is made up of a battery of 24 Vdc fans powered by an internal source. The air flow passes through the ballast along its longitudinal axis and the direction of the air flow can be chosen when ordering, F in the FORWARD version, i.e. with the blowing air flow in the machine body and B in the BACKWARD version, that is with the suction air flow from the machine body.

SINGLE-OUTPUT SYSTEM
The function of driving both arc lamps and LED lamps by means of the same power supply unit has now been further enhanced: we have further simplified this solution by combining the two connection in a single-output system. This not only leads to time-saving but also makes operations during the exchange-phase of the two units to be powered easier.

Air flow direction:

B = BACKWARD standard version: that is with the fans pulling air out of the machine.
F = FORWARD on demand version: that is with the fans pushing air into the machine.
