BALLAST

R200 is characterized by a robust mechanical construction and with compact dimensions, the assembly footprint on the board is identical to the old HLTA model. Electrically it consists of a double-stage architecture powered by a three-phase line from 220 Vac to 480 Vac that allows to control lamps with voltage equal to or less than the applied mains voltage +10%. The sizes available are 12 A, 18 A, 25 A independent of the input voltage. R200 has been designed to be used with the latest generation of high current and low voltage lamps. It is possible to configure R200 in COMBO mode and that is able to drive both Arco lamps and LED lamps.

The new R SERIES differs from the previous H SERIES in that the group of fans is positioned on the rear side of the machine and is made up of a battery of 24 Vdc fans powered by an internal source. The air flow passes through the ballast along its longitudinal axis and the direction of the air flow can be chosen when ordering, F in the FORWARD version, i.e. with the blowing air flow in the machine body and B in the BACKWARD version, that is with the suction air flow from the machine body.

SINGLE-OUTPUT SYSTEM
The function of driving both arc lamps and LED lamps by means of the same power supply unit has now been further enhanced: we have further simplified this solution by combining the two connection in a single-output system. This not only leads to time-saving but also makes operations during the exchange-phase of the two units to be powered easier.

Air flow direction:

B = BACKWARD standard version: that is with the fans pulling air out of the machine.
F = FORWARD on demand version: that is with the fans pushing air into the machine.
